Don't let the instructions below overwhelm you. Simply read all of the steps first, then follow each step slowly!

NOTE #2: If you have absolutely no idea about the instructions below, try to find someone who knows a little about websites... someone who is capable of setting it all up for you. IT WILL BE WORTH IT!



To Setting Up Your Mini-Site Package

  1. Download your package to a folder on your computer

    • Just above these instructions is the image of the MiniSite software. Below it is the download link for the software. Click on the link and save the zip file on in a folder on your computer. When you unzip the file, it will unzip into its own folder. Move the zip file into that folder. You will need to upload all files in that folder to your web host service after you edit the html files.
  2. Register and set up a domain name and web host account to host your website

    • You can register and set-up a domain name and website hosting account anywhere you wish, however we strongly recommend using because of their great deal - 7 Day FREE trial - and it's also a great way to make an additional income stream. NOTE: Make sure you choose a domain name with the .ws extension. Any others like .com, .org, or .biz, etc might be charged more.

    • Register for a domain name (.ws) that is related to what your site is about. So in this instance anything along the lines of is acceptable. Click search to see if it's available. If not try again until you find one that is. A good thing to do if your domain is not available is try adding a hyphen or a number to it e.g.

    • Again, your domain name can be anything you like.

    • Congratulations! you have successfully set up your web hosting service of your choice. Please proceed to step #3 then #4; there are a few things that still need to be done in order to get your site unto the world wide web and ensure that all $10.00 payments go directly to your PayPal account.

      IMPORTANT NOTE: You may have noticed the price of your complete web hosting package.   3. Insert your Merchant "Buy Now" button code into your MiniSite and make a few minor modifications

    • In order for you to receive the $10.00 payments, you'll need to have merchant payment processing services like PayPal and AlertPay. It's a good idea to have both because in some cases, PayPal is not available in some countries, and AlertPay is

    • If you don't already have them, sign up for free PayPal and AlertPay accounts by clicking on their links.

    • When signing up for PayPal and AlertPay accounts you need the following type of accounts: for PayPal, you'd need to get a Premier account, and for AlertPay, you should get a Personal Pro account. You'd need these types of accounts so that you will be able to create and save Merchant buttons. Both are FREE.

    • Create your Merchant Buttons and get the code - copy it and paste it in the appropriate areas in the index.html file. We will specify that in a later step. Merchant button codes look like these:

      Do not copy these - they will not work for you. You'd have to create your own. These are just samples.

    • In creating your button codes, make sure that you include the return URL - in other words, where you will redirect the buyers after they've paid for the MiniSite. Typically, your URL should be:

      This will redirect them to this Back Office page to be able to download the MiniSite as well as follow these instructions.

    • Now for the minor modifications to the html files. Use Wordpad or similar program to open the file named index.html. Use the search function to search for MODIFICATION POINT - after locating them, there will be instructions below it on what to modify. This will be the same for the other two files - WXWXVYNMQBackOffice_area.html and WXWXVYNMQBackOffice_area.html. If you find it and there's no instructions below it, that means that you've found it as part of this instruction.
  4. Upload your MiniSite to your web hosting service

    • After editing and saving the 3 html files, FTP all of the files and folders that are in the folder that you've unzipped, to your web hosting service. Make sure also that the file - is also included. Follow your web hosting service's directions on how to upload the files.

    • For GDI members only: Make sure that your DNS setting is set to Hosting. To do this, log in to your account and click on Domains on the left pane. In the domains page, check your DNS Setting. If it says anything else other than Hosting, click on the Change DNS link, then choose Basic Hosting. Click Continue. To then upload your files and folders, you need to use FileZilla. The Address is, and use your GDI login and password for the next 2 fields. Leave Port blank. Click on QuickConnect. After connection is made, double click on the folder with the same name as your domain. Select everything in the vxwvxwminisitepackage folder and drag them all into the Remote Site pane of FileZilla (where you double clicked on your domain name folder).

    • Congratulations! Your website is now on the Internet! Test out all the links. Make sure that they all work. Most importantly, test out the merchant buttons. It's a good idea to make a purchase through all the buttons that you've created - just to make sure that they work and that you will be redirected to the download page after paying.
  5. Market your MiniSite

    • Below is a link to the Tools page. There you'll find some of marketing tools that we've used and are working for us. We're pretty sure that you will find other ways to market the MiniSite. These should help you get started.
